We’re Ace Car Breakers Ltd., a local scrap metal merchant and treatment facility for End of Life Vehicles (ELVs) located in Swanscombe, near Dartford, Kent. Today, our core business centres around the recovery of scrap cars as well as buying and selling ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Many businesses come and go but, from our humble beginnings way back in 1978, we’ve grown steadily throughout the years and have evolved from being a local car scrapyard selling automotive parts into one of the South East of England’s leading scrap metal merchants.

Due to being established in our local community for over 40 years now, we were once well-known as THE local car scrapyard that sold pretty much any spare part for virtually any vehicle. If you wanted a wing mirror or a secondhand radiator, you’d pick up the phone to see if we had one in stock.

Unfortunately, this is no longer a viable option for us and we now mainly deal in scrap metal only, although we do still sell part-worn tyres and used car/van batteries. If you’ve come to this page and are looking for a specific part for your vehicle, there are now a multitude of online traders that specialise in this type of service. Many of them have dedicated websites or sell on platforms such as eBay.
